JS MAKINAMI conducted bilateral exercise with patrol boats of the U.S. Navy

On Jun 23, JS MAKINAMI, departed from Yokosuka port to participate in multi-lateral exercises, conducted bilateral exercise with U.S. Navy patrol boats in the waters around Guam, to enhance tactical skills and cooperation between JMSDF and U.S. Navy.
Despite COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive and strong partnership between Japan and U.S., safeguard the peace and security of Japan and contribute to support stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
