JS ATAGO conducted bilateral exercise with EA-18G US Navy electronic warfare aircrafts

On Jun 5, JS ATAGO conducted bilateral electronic warfare exercise in the Japan Sea with EA-18G US Navy electronic warfare aircrafts, to enhance tactical skills and increase Japan-US interoperability.
The Self-Defense Fleet improves deterrence and interoperability in response to possible contingencies through regular high-end exercises such as the one we conducted.
Despite COVID-19, remains responsive and integrate with the US Navy in order to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific, safeguard the peace and security of Japan and contribute to support stability in the region based on our strong alliance.
