JS SETOGIRI conducted multi-lateral training with the EU Naval Force and the Djibouti Coast Guard

On May 10, JS SETOGIRI as the 38th Deployment Surface Force for Counter Piracy Enforcement (DSPE) conducted multi-lateral training in the Gulf of Aden with the European Union Naval Force and the Djibouti Coast Guard.
JS SETOGIRI, ITS CARABINIERE, a Spanish air force patrol aircraft P-3M and the Djibouti Coast Guard patrol boat DAMERJOG participated in this multi-lateral training, enhanced our capability and cooperation related to counter piracy between JMSDF, EU Naval Force and the Djibouti Coast Guard.
Despite COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive and deepen the cooperative relationship through these various deployment activities and multi-lateral training events, contribute to support stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
