JS SETOGIRI was active with USS Dwight D. Eisenhower

On April 19, JS SETOGIRI as the 38^th Deployment Surface Force for Counter Piracy Enforcement was active in the Gulf of Aden with USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69).
Commander of JS SETOGIRI, CDR SATO Shinya expressed with Commander of USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, “Being able to engage in the area far from each other home countries symbolizes a strong Japan-U.S. alliance in order to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.”
Despite COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive and integrate with the US Navy in order to safeguard the peace and security of Japan and support stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
