JS AKEBONO conducted goodwill exercise with the Indonesian Navy

　 13 April, JS AKEBONO conducted a goodwill exercise with Indonesian Navy ship KRI BUNG TOMO as part of an overseas training cruise. This exercise enhanced the tactical skills of both navies and further fostered mutual understanding and friendship between JMSDF and the Indonesian Navy in order to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
Despite COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet remains responsive and promotes friendship through these goodwill exercises, and contributes to Japan's peace and security while supporting stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
