JS KONGO conducted PASSEX with USS BLUE RIDGE

　 On March 29, JS KONGO conducted bilateral exercise in the East China Sea with USS BLUE RIDGE.
Commander of JS KONGO (CPT FUJISAKI Masaru) stated, “In addition to improving the JMSDF's tactical capabilities, we have deepened interoperability with the US Navy. I am convinced that we can improve deterrence and interoperability in response to possible contingencies through regular bilateral exercises such as the one we conducted.”
Despite the COVID-19, the Self-Defense Fleet remains ready to immediately respond and integrate with the US Navy in order to safeguard the peace and security of Japan and support stability in the region.
