In 2016, ATLA published The medium- to long –term defense technology outlook (DTO). DTO was intended to estimate future advancement of technologies in light of domestic and international technological trends, as well as to clarify direction of medium- to long-term scientific and technological efforts at ATLA based on those estimation. It has revised into “Defense Technology Guideline 2023” in 2023.
