Two researchers from the Academy of Military Science (AMS) of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA), Senior Colonel Liu Shigang and Colonel Jiang Huafeng visited the Joint Staff College (JSC) as part of the exchange program between the National Institute for Defense Studies and the AMS.
    They met with the JSC Vice Commandant, Rear Admiral Izumi to talk about prospective exchanges between the AMS and the JSC and other topics.
    Then we had a discussion under the theme of “PLA’s joint operation and joint education.” Not only the JSC members but also those from JGSDF Training Education Research and Development Command, JMSDF Command and Staff College, and Air Command and Staff College attended the opinion exchange and had a lively discussion with the AMS researchers.
