On 6 March, the graduation ceremony for 15th Joint Advanced Course (JAC) was held at the auditorium of Meguro Base. Many distinguished guests from within and outside the MOD including Parliamentary Senior Vice-Minister of Defense Takeda participated in the ceremony.
　JAC’s purpose is to educate and train senior officers on joint operations to fulfill missions as commanding officers or senior staff officers of major commands. A total of 51 student officers including 1 international student officer from the ROK learnt joint education through lectures, study tours and group research assignment during 5 months education period.
　We accept international student officers based on the mutual agreement between Japan and international students’ home countries.
　After the college, graduates will serve as commanding officers or senior staff officers and play crucial roles in each service.
