Subject Matter Expert Exchange (SMEE) at MALABAR 2026.

Staff from the Self Defense Fleet and participating navies of Malabar exchanged views on issues in various specialized fields and directions for improving future interoperability.

The Self Defense Fleet will continue to work closely with the navies of allies and like-minded partners, from the commander to the staff and unit levels, and act together to maintain readiness and respond immediately to any contingencies, contributing to the defense of Japan and peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
