Students of the JASDF Officer Candidate School and the JASDF Command & Staff College visited Maritime Operation Center, JMSDF.

On 1 October, students from the JASDF Officer Candidate School visited the Maritime Operation Center (MOC), JMSDF. On 6 October, students from the JASDF Command & Staff College also visited the MOC as part of their study tour, and additionally paid a courtesy call on Vice Admiral OMACHI Katsushi, Commander, Self Defense Fleet.

During both visits, the students and the staff of the Self Defense Fleet exchanged views on the cooperation between the JMSDF and the JASDF.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
