Japan and U.S. Joint Visit.

From July 13 through 15, Commander, Self-Defense Fleet, held a joint visit to JSDF units in Okinawa with Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet.

The visit provided leadership from both sides an opportunity to grasp the frontline situation and align joint operational efforts for shaping defense in this area.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
