Ship Rider Cooperation Program (SRCP) is in progress on board JS ISE.

On board JS ISE under Indo-Pacific Deployment 2025 (IPD25) is now in progress the 7th ASEAN and Timor-Leste Ship Riders Cooperation Program as well as the 3rd Pacific-island Ship Riders Cooperation Program held by JMOD/JSDF.

The program takes a week and includes seminars on International Law of the Sea, presentations on maritime security issues by each country’s participants, WPS seminars, and observation of trainings. Through this program, we are deepening multi-national ties such as mutual understanding as well as collaboration between participating navies and coast guards year by year.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
