The Australian Defence College delegation visited MOC, Self Defense Fleet.

On 15 May, the Australian Defence College delegation visited MOC, Self Defense Fleet and had an office call to RADM SATO Masahiro, Chief of Staff, Self Defense Fleet.

Japan’s security environment is becoming even severer and the collaboration between the JMSDF and the Royal Australian Navy is becoming even closer as the one between Japan Self-Defense Force and the Australian Defence Force. Self Defense Fleet will strengthen the collaboration with like-minded countries and promote mutual understanding through defense exchanges.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
