JS Yahagi participated in International Maritime Defense Exhibition (IMDEX).

During 6- 8 May, JS Yahagi participated in International Maritime Defense Exhibition (IMDEX) in Republic of Singapore.

IMDEX is an exhibition which is focused on maritime defense aspects such as naval ships and its equipment. JS Yahagi had a ship tour and welcomed visitors of the participating Navies as well as the local people. In IMDEX, JS Yahagi successfully deepened friendship and mutual understanding with the participating countries.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
