UP-3D conducted Joint Exercise with U.S. Navy EA-18G.

On April 3rd , JS Inazuma and UP-3D conducted a Japan-U.S. bilateral exercise with USN EA-18G in the South Okinawa.

Through the exercise, JMSDF improved tactical capabilities and interoperability with USN. VADM KANESHIMA Koji, Commander, Fleet Air Force (CFAF) said, “Through our Fujin pact, we have developed and strengthened EMW capability as well as Information Warfare collaboration between the JMSDF and USN for years. We will seek for further opportunities to make us stronger and more confident”.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
