JS SENDAI conducted a Japan-France bilateral exercise with FS PRAIRIAL in WAKASA Bay.

“Through the bilateral exercise with FS PRAIRIAL which is visiting Maizuru, Kyoto, we improved the tactical capabilities and strengthen cooperation with French Navy. We will continue to work for the peace and stability as well as the maritime order of the region in order to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific,” CDR YODA Masahiko, Commanding Officer, JS SENDAI, said.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
