CINCSDFLT received a visit from Commander, Republic of Korean Navy Joint Cruise Training Task Group.

VADM OMACHI Katsushi, Commander-in-Chief of Self Defense Fleet, received a visit from RADM KIM Hakmin, Commander, Republic of Korean Navy Joint Cruise Training Task Group.

In the conversation, RADM KIM mentioned about the education systems of ROK Academies and VADM OMACHI also had a comment from Commanding Officers of the Joint Cruise Training Task Group. They shared ideas that both acquiring the global awareness and cooperative mind for the young generations are very important to build the future between Japan and Republic of Korea as well as its navies.

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
