JS MURASAME conducted a Japan-Qatar Goodwill Exercise.

JS MURASAME conducted a Japan-Qatar Goodwill Exercise with QENS AL KHOR off the coast of Doha.

Commander HAYAKAWA Masahiro, commanding officer of JS MURASAME said, ‘’Through the exercise, we successfully improved the tactical capabilities and enhanced the mutual understanding with the Qatar Emiri Navy. We are proud of conducting the exercise for the first time with the Qatar Emiri Navy. We will continue to contribute to the peace and stability of the region strengthening cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.’’

The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with the allied and like-minded navies.
