Self Defense Fleet participated in a Japan-U.S. Bilateral / Joint exercise KEEN SWORD 25

Self Defense Fleet participated in the bilateral / joint exercise (KEEN SWORD 25) from October 23 through November 1 throughout Japan and developed Japan-U.S. readiness and interoperability while strengthening cooperation with the like-minded countries.

In Keen Sword 25, Japan Self Defense Force (JGSDF/ JMSDF/ JASDF), Military Forces from Australia and Canada as well as 14 observers invited from NATO and other organization experienced exercises such as joint integrated fire, missile defense, island defense and SLOC (Sea Lines of Communication) security.

Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
