US-2 conducted landing/ takeoff training on Lake Biwa

On 17th October, US-2 amphibious aircraft, under the 71st Air Rescue Squadron conducted landing/ takeoff training on Lake BIWA.

The training was a rehearsal for “Nankai-Rescue” exercise of the JGSDF Middle Army which is scheduled in January 2025.

Self Defense Fleet maintains 24/7 readiness for various kinds of missions to protect lives and safety at sea closely collaborating with the JGSDF and JASDF.
