JS MURASAME conducted a Japan-Indonesia goodwill exercise.
JS MURASAME conducted a Japan-Indonesia goodwill exercise with KRI BIMA SUCI in the south of Kanto.
The Commanding officer of JS MURASAME, Commander HAYAKAWA Masahiro said, ‘’Through the exercise, we successfully improved the tactical capabilities and enhanced the mutual understanding with the Indonesian Navy. In recent years, opportunities for defense exchanges and interactions with the Indonesian National Armed Forces are increasing and the bilateral relationship between the navies is specifically getting closer and closer through the goodwill exercises and port of calls. We will continue to contribute to the peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region strengthening cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.’
The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with the allied and like-minded navies.
