The 2nd Surface Unit of the Indo-Pacific Deployment 2024 (IPD24), JS ARIAKE conducted a Japan-U.S.-Australia trilateral exercise (Noble Raven24-4).

JS ARIAKE as the 2nd Surface Unit of the Indo-Pacific Deployment 2024 (IPD 24) conducted a Japan-U.S.-Australia trilateral exercise (Noble Raven 24-4) hosted by the Royal Australian Navy in waters from Darwin to Java with USS DEWEY and HMAS STUART.
“Through High-End tactical trainings and defense exchanges among the sailors, we successfully improved tactical capabilities and strengthened cooperation with US Navy and Royal Australian Navy. We will continue to work for the peace and stability as well as the maritime order of the region in order to realize a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific,” RADM YOKOTA Kazushi, Commander, Escort Flotilla 3 said.
The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
