JS MASHU conducted Interchangeable Logistics Exercise 24-3 with the U.S. Coast Guard.

JS MASHU conducted Interchangeable Logistics Exercise (ILEX24-3) in the East China Sea with USCGC WAESCHE.
The Commanding Officer of JS MASHU, Captain FUJISAKI Masaru said, “We improved our tactical capabilities and the interoperability between the JMSDF and the U.S. Coast Guard regarding replenishment at sea. Under the strong, long-lasting alliance, Japanese and U.S. maritime logistic forces have been operating more effectively and efficiently in support of mutual frontline units.”
The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
