P-3C conducted a Japan-Türkiye goodwill exercise.

54th Deployment Air Force for Counter Piracy Enforcement (DAPE) conducted a Japan- Türkiye goodwill exercise with the Turkish Navy corvette TCG KINALIADA in the Gulf of Aden.
The Commander of the Air Force Enforcement, Commander SAWAHATA Yuta said, “This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Türkiye. We improved our tactical capabilities and mutual understanding and deepened maritime friendship with the Turkish Navy. We contribute for peace, security and prosperity of the international community through goodwill training and anti-piracy operations with the navies of other countries.”
The Self Defense Fleet maintains readiness and contributes to the peace and stability of the Indo-Pacific region, not only for the defense of Japan but also for the realization of a “Free and Open Indo-Pacific” in cooperation with allied and like-minded navies.
