フルーエント最先任上級曹長が米軍に捧げた経歴を辿るように、各軍種、階級の複数の隊員が米国人の誇りである星条旗を厳かに渡し伝えていきます
Some menbers of each service and class solemnly handed over the Star-Spangled Banner,the pride of the Americans,so that we could trace the career of cmdmc Mike Fluent.

Passing of the flagの最後は海上自衛隊沖縄基地隊の先任伍長からフルーエント最先任上級曹長へ星条旗を手渡しました
在沖米海軍艦隊活動司令部と沖縄基地隊はカウンターパートの関係にあり、先任伍長間には親密な関係があります
At the end of the passing of the flag, CMDMC of SAA OKINAWA JMSDF handed the Star-Spangled Banner to CMDMC Mike Fluent.
The US Navy Fleet Activities Okinawa and JMSDF Sub Area Activty Okinawa are in a cooperative relationship, there is intimate relationship between the each CMDMC.

午前９時、それまでの静寂を破り、サイドパイプの音色に
出迎えられフルーエント最先任上級曹長が
会場に現れました

今回のフルーエント最先任上級曹長の退官式は我々海上自衛官にとっても良い経験となりました。

海上自衛隊にも”先任伍長交代式”や”定年退職行事”はありますが、やはり文化の違いなのか、一つ一つの所作、イベントが新鮮に感じます
The JMSDF also has "retirement ceremony"and "cmdmc change ceremony", but we feel that each action and events are fresh, probably because of cultural differences.
