幹部自衛官としての資質を養わせるとともに、初級幹部自衛官として必要な基礎的知識及び技能を修得させることにあります。
In addition to providing an environment for midshipmen to develop the professional background to serve as officers, we also provide them with the basic knowledge and skills to be successful junior officers.
教育方針 Policy of education and training
積極果敢、指導力に富み、豊かな徳性を具備した有為な幹部たりうる基礎を確立するため、訓育、体育及び技能教育の均衡のとれた教育を推進しています。
We promote an education and training program that allows midshipmen to establish the basics which are necessary to become officers of a positive attitude with strong leadership skills and high moral character by balancing instruction in physical education, discipline and naval skills.
教育指導上の配慮事項 Educational emphasis
特に次の事項に配慮しています。
１ 諸事基本を重視します。
２ 自啓自発、自主自律の気風を高揚します。
３ 海に親しみ、海を知り、海上を職場とする自覚を高め、シーマンシップの基礎を体得させます。
４ すぐれた環境と伝統を全幅活用するとともに、挙校一致の態勢のもとに、不断の創意工夫に努め、常に教育の研究改善に留意します。
５ 教官職員は学生の活模範となり、率先垂範をもって感化に努めます。
６ 各課程学生の出身経歴特質等を考慮し、これに適応するきめの細かい指導に配慮します。
We give particular emphasis to the following concepts in education and training.
1 Stress the basics.
2 Nurture an attitude to serve voluntarily.
3 Familiarize midshipmen with the sea and enhance their consciousness that the sea is their future field of work, thereby helping them to develop basic seamanship.
4 Continually improve the quality of education and training by encouraging the staff to work together and creatively utilize the positive learning environment and deep tradition of the school.
5 Instructors and other staff behave as role models for midshipmen and take the lead in inspiring them.
6 Take the background of midshipmen into consideration while providing an appropriate and effective education and training program.
