海上自衛隊幹部候補生学校のホームページをご訪問いただき、ありがとうございます！
本校は、海上自衛隊の幹部自衛官になる人が必ず入校する学校であり、その入り口あるいは原点となる教育を担っています。
本校の教育の大命題は、“幹部自衛官としての資質を養わせる”ということと“初級の幹部自衛官として必要な知識、技能を修得させる”ということです。
教育の内容は、使命感、徳操、規律、しつけ、シーマンシップなどを養う訓育、業務をやり遂げるために必要な体力を養う体育、初級幹部として必要な知識、技能を教育する技能教育に区分されます。
幹部候補生は、約１年間、週末を除き、学校の中で生活し、授業（教務と呼ばれる）、訓練などを行っており、自己管理をしつつ、チームの中での自分の役割を見出し、チームをリードし、お互いが協力しあい、助け合いながら日々を過ごしています。
その中で、同期生同士の団結や協調が生まれ、規律やコミュニケーションの大切さを知り、リーダーシップ、マネジメントの仕方に気付きや発見が見えてくるのではないでしょうか。

Thank you very much for visiting the Maritime Officer Candidate School (MOCS) homepage!
MOCS is where all JMSDF officers are commissioned. We are responsible for the start of the education in their careers. The school has two goals. First, to develop their talent as officers. Second, to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills for new officers.
Their education is separated into three focuses: Discipline (a sense of mission and virtue), Physical education (the strength to accomplish our mission), and Skills (to educate knowledge and technical skills).
MOCS students spend one year in the dormitory except on weekends. They have various classes and training. They learn to control themselves and cooperate with each other. Some of them will lead their division while others play various roles as a team. They learn to understand the importance of unity, discipline and the spirit of cooperation. Through MOCS life, they discover what is leadership and management.
