Welcome to Home Page of Mine sweepr Division One JMSDF. I am COMMODORE Capt.NOMA
Mine sweeper Division one is assigned to the MINEFORCE of CINCSDFLT JMSDF.Our Division have two duties that Mine countermeasures (which remove Mine or Explsive object)and Mining(which laying mine) we were reformed as Mine sweeperdivion one from former Main serrperdivision five-one in july 1st 2016 at Yokosuka City.kanagawa prefecture.
Our Divison consist of divison staff and 4 vessels which include bland new Mine CountermeaureasureVessel(MCMV)JS AWAJI andJS HIRADO(MSO)and JS CHICHIZIMA(MSC)and JS URAGA(MST).We are capable of conduct integrated MCM operations by using those most advanced MCMV in japan.
Each vessl hase posted daily activity and those pictures on websitse, so you can enjoy seeing our activities rare to see usually.ANd we hope you satisfy our public relations activities include open ship when we visit your neighrhood.We have been engaged in various trainings and exercises to meet the demand of various mission and commitment for people who support our activities.As you know millitary organization like us,on the whole people think strict discipline and order.
That's right but beside those aspect we value generosity and kindness to others.
