情報作戦集団司令官 海将 吉岡 猛
情報作戦集団のホームページにようこそ。
当部隊は、SNSやAIの急速な発達により認知領域を含む情報環境が活動の帰趨を左右する時代になっていることを踏まえ、正確かつ迅速な意思決定が可能な体制を構築することを目的に、情報戦に係る専門性を持つ部隊を集約する形で令和８年３月２３日に新編されました。
私は司令官として、次の３点を重視して任務遂行に努めています。
1. チームワーク
当部隊は異なる専門性を持つ部隊で編成されていますが、その専門性を相互に結び付け、連携させる必要があります。所属隊員一同、同じ目的に向かってチームワークを発揮し、任務を遂行してまいります。
2. スピード
IT技術の進歩等により意思決定のサイクルが非常に速くなっている状況を踏まえ、部隊としての活動のみならず、日々の業務においても常にスピード感を意識して職務にあたっています。
3. チャレンジ
情報作戦は比較的新しい分野であり、やってみないとわからないこともまだ多く存在します。我々が新しい部隊である、という点も活かして、常に新しいことにチャレンジすること、また、失敗を恐れず失敗から学んで次につなげる、というマインドを持つことを心掛けています。
情報作戦集団は激しく変化する情勢に対応し、「チームワーク」「スピード」「チャレンジ」の３つを軸として任務に邁進してまいります。皆様のご理解、ご支援を賜りますよう、お願い申し上げます。

Welcome to the Information Warfare Command (IWC) Website. In an era where the rapid advancement of social media and Artificial Intelligence has made the information environment—including the cognitive domain—a decisive factor in the outcome of operations, our mission is critical. To ensure accurate and rapid decision-making capabilities, we were newly established on March 23, 2026, by consolidating specialized units dedicated to information warfare.
As a commander, I am committed to fulfilling our mission with a focus on the following three core principles:
Teamwork
IWC is organized as units with diverse areas of expertise. It is essential that we integrate and synchronize these specialties. Every member of this unit is dedicated to working together as one team toward our shared purpose to ensure mission success.
Speed
Given the accelerating pace of decision-making cycles driven by rapid technological progress, we maintain a high sense of urgency in all our activities—not only in operational missions but also in our daily duties.
Challenge
Information operations is a relatively new field where many unknowns remain. Leveraging our status as a newly formed unit, we embrace the spirit of constant challenge. We cultivate a mindset that does not fear failure, but rather learns from it to drive future success.
The Information Warfare Command will continue to adapt to the rapidly changing global situation, striving toward our mission through the pillars of Teamwork, Speed, and Challenge. Thank you for your continued understanding and support.
