On Tuesday, March 24, Rear Admiral Hoshi, Director of the Logistics Department of the Maritime Staff Office, participated in a panel discussion at the Indo-Pacific Policy Public Seminar hosted by YCAPS (the Yokosuka Council on Asia-Pacific Studies).
He shared perspectives on the changing environment in the software age, and on the role of the defense industry and Japan–U.S. cooperation in a context where the ability to continuously adapt to change is increasingly essential, and an active discussion followed.
The Ministry of Defense and the SDF will deepen defense cooperation and exchanges to realize the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP).
