RADM HIRATA, Director General, Operations and Plans Department held staff talks with RADM Maddula, Assistant Chief of the Naval Staff for Foreign Cooperation and Intelligence Indian Navy in New Delhi Japan-India.
During this 11th Japan-India Navy-to-Navy Staff Talks, they came to a shared understanding of the security environment in the Indo-Pacific as well as the importance of Japan-India bilateral naval cooperation. They agreed to promote multifaceted and multilayered defense cooperation in operations, equipment and technology, and personnel exchange.
JMSDF will continue to deepen relations with the Indian Navy, and contribute to the peace and stability of the region Japan-India.
