Research on U.S. Navy's Software Development environment by JMSDF - JADI Consolidation

On October 1-2, Rear Admiral HOSHI Naoya, Director General of Logistics Department, Maritime Staff Office (MSO), CAPT Oshima, Executive Officer of Maritime Warfare Systems Development Center and Japan Association of Defense Industry (JADI) visited the U.S. Navy's sonar development facilities and other with NAVSEA PEO IWS 5.0, and held in-depth discussions with them about improving the capabilities of equipment that will further contribute to maritime security. JMSDF will also work to create an environment in which better techniques can be applied to equipment as quickly as possible, promote Japan-U.S. cooperation in improving capabilities, and strive to further improve interoperability.
The Ministry of Defense and the SDF will deepen defense cooperation and exchanges to realize the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP).
