RADM Hirata, Director General, Operations and Plans Department, met with CDRE Young, Chief of Staff to Chief of Navy, RAN in Australia, sharing common picture in current situations and agreed to further enhance cooperation between Japan and Australia to maintain peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific. JMSDF will continue to work closely with the Royal Australian Navy to realize FOIP.
