ADM Saito met with VADM Ezpeleta, Chief of Philippine Navy to exchange views on how Japan - Philippines can deepen the Navy-to-Navy cooperation, including　the transfer of defense equipment. JMSDF will continue working closely with Philippine Navy to promote peace & stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
