ADM SAITO participated in trilateral video conference with U.S. Pacific Fleet Commander ADM Koehler and ROKN Chief ADM Kang.
The navy leaders reaffirmed their shared views on the importance of trilateral cooperation amid the growing severity of the security environment in East Asia. They also agreed to further strengthen personnel engagement, which is an essential foundation of cooperation, through multi-layered interactions. The JMSDF will further deepen its cooperation with the U.S. Navy and the ROK Navy, and contribute to ensuring regional peace and stability.
