ADM Saito, Chief of Staff, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force met with VADM Hannifin, Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet. They discussed the need to enhance bilateral exercises for further improvement of the JMSDF and USN interoperability. Under the Japan-U.S. Alliance, which is the cornerstone of security in the Indo-Pacific, the JMSDF and USN will continue working together towards the peace and stability of the region.
