Admiral Saito participated in the Change of Command Ceremony for the U.S. Chief of Naval Operations (CNO)

Chief of Staff of the Maritime Self-Defense Force, SAITO, attended the Change of Command Ceremony held in Washington, D.C. for the 34th CNO, the United States Navy, Admiral Daryl Caudle. During the meeting, Admiral SAITO extended his congratulations and shared views on the importance of further strengthening the Japan-U.S. alliance.
The unprecedentedly strong relationship between the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and the U.S. Navy continues to contribute to the enhancement of deterrence and response capabilities within the alliance. This partnership will be further deepened going forward.
