VTC with Admiral Jenkins, the First Sea Lord

Admiral Saito, Chief of Staff, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, held a VTC with General Jenkins, who took command of the Royal Navy as First Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff on 27 May, where they shared their views of the security environment in the Euro-Atlantic and Indo-Pacific regions, and discussed possibilities of equipment cooperation.
JMSDF will further promote cooperation and collaboration with the Royal Navy to realize a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.
