On Tuesday, 8 September 2026, Rear Admiral Darryl L. Walker, the President of U.S. Naval War College visited the Japan Joint Staff College (JJSC).

The visit took place during Admiral’s stay in Japan for exchanges with JMSDF Maritime Command and Staff College (MCSC). During the visit, Rear Admiral Walker exchanged view on joint education with Vice Admiral Takada, JJSC Commandant.

JJSC will contribute to enhancing defense cooperation and exchanges between the two countries.
