Student delegation led by MG Sillen, Commander Netherlands Defence Academy (NLDA) visited Joint Staff College (JSC). NLDA visited JSC two years in a row. Our program included courtesy call on LtGen YAJIMA, commandant of JSC, overview briefings of JSC and NLDA, briefing by senior research fellow, JMSDF Command & Staff College, briefing by senior policy officer, Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussion between Japanese and Netherlands students. In discussion, both students discussed current and future security cooperation between Japan and Netherlands. That became good opportunity for both students to broaden their insights a lot.

In addition, we have signed roadmap which embodies three year plan based on Letter of Intent which JSC and NLDA signed last year to establish cooperative environment in the field of mutual interest.

NLDA will be coming back next year and we look forward to meeting you again!
