2"OQ/NThe JMOD/JSDF has conducted its first ever cooperation project with the Solomon Islands, which was carried out in Honiara from January 23 to 31. Instructors from the JGSDF Ordnance School shared their knowledge on munitions utilized by the Imperial Japanese Military with the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department, the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF). This project contributed to improving the RSIPF’s capabilities on UXO disposal and raised public awareness on the matter, contributing to safety and security for the people of the Solomon Islands.
