2.@Q/NThe JMSDF, the U.S. Navy, and Republic of Korea Navy conducted a trilateral exercise from January 14 to 17. This exercise strongly promotes trilateral cooperation to respond to regional security challenges and demonstrates the strong commitment to secure a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.On January 7, JGSDF 1st Airborne Brigade conducted New Year’s Jump 2024 at Camp Narashino. This year, airborne units of the U.S., the UK, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Indonesia participated in the event, with the observers from Cambodia. Before that, on January 5, the commanders attended at the International Airborne Commanders Conference.
