6.@X/NFrom February 28 to March 10, the JSDF participated in a multilateral joint exercise, Cobra Gold 23 in Thailand to conduct training for command post exercise and field exercise including Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HA/DR), Engineering Civil Action Program (ENCAP) and Rescue of Japanese Nationals Overseas (RJNO). The JSDF will contribute to regional peace and stability as well as improve HA/DR and RJNO capabilities through multilateral cooperation to deal with challenges that are difficult to be addressed by a single country.The JSDF and the U.S. Forces conducted the Japan-U.S. Bilater-al Joint Air and Missile Defense Exercise 2023 (Resilient Shield 23) on February 17 and from 20 to 22.
