From India, approxi-mately 150 personnel and Su-30MKIs came to Japan to participate in the fighter training. The JASDF will continue promoting Japan-India defense cooperation to uphold and reinforce a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.On January 20, DM Hamada received a courtesy call from Mr. Justin Hayhurst, Australian Ambassador-Designate to Japan. DM Hamada welcomed the assignment of Mr. Hayhurst and stated that Japan will continue to work together with Australia to take our cooperation to higher level and realize the Free and Open Indo-Pacific.On January 11, the Government of Japan and the Government of the United Kingdom have signed the Japan-UK Reciprocal Access Agreement (RAA). This Agreement facili-tates our joint operations and exercises, and improves interoperability.
