6'@A/NOn November 23, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Defense Onoda visited Cambodia to attend the 9th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting-Plus (ADMM-Plus), which was held in person for the first time in three years. At the meeting, PVMD Onoda actively articu-lated Japan’s position on the current security environment such as Russia's aggression against Ukraine and situations concerning North Korea, the East and South China Seas, Taiwan, and Myan-mar. With regard to relations with ASEAN, she reiterated Japan’s enduring commitment to play a constructive role through coopera-tion based on the “Vientiane Vision 2.0,” as well as through the ADMM-Plus framework.On this occasion, PVDM Onoda paid courtesy calls on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Dense Tea Banh of Cam-bodia, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defence Rich-ard Marles of Australia respectively, and reaffirmed that they would further promote bilateral defense cooperation and exchanges.On Dec 11, five top leaders of ground forces in the Indo-Pacific region: General Yoshida, Chief of Staff of the JGSDF, General Flynn, Command-ing General of the U. S.
