64DO/NJSDF participated in the Pacific Partnership 2022 hosted by the U.S. Navy in Vietnam from June 20 to July 3, where medical activities and cultural exchanges were conducted.On June 20, an opening ceremony was held and the JMSDF Tokyo Band gave a joint perfor-mance with the U.S. Pacific Fleet Band. The two bands gave a joint performance at various places during their stay. The medical team conducted activities such as providing emergency resuscitation education to local students and support for dental care at local medical facilities and dental hygiene education to local civilians.JSDF will actively promote cooperation for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region through various initiatives in close cooperation with regional partners to promote a Free and Open Indo-Pacific.JGSDF participated in the multilateral exercise KHAAN QUEST 2022 in Mongolia from June 6 to 20. Through this exercise, JGSDF improved various capabilities for conducting peacekeeping operations. JGSDF also promoted mutual understanding and strengthened cooperation between the participating nations.
