5GSDF Central Band gave a concert at Fukuzawa School on May 5, and performed Japanese nursery songs for Djiboutian students. The school was built in 1995 under the support of Japan, and has been deepening exchanges with JSDF base in Djibouti through sports events.During its stay, GSDF Central Band received heartwarming receptions, and their music performances at military bases and schools have contributed to strengthen cooperation with Djibouti and other partner countries. They performed at Italian military base on May 1, French military base on May 2, and U.S. military base on May 7, as well as at JSDF facilities, local schools, and etc. They performed “Les champs-elysees, “Take Me Home Country Roads,” and “Sukiyaki Song” at each base.
