7On March 28-29, JMSDF EP-3 aircraft conducted a bilateral exercise with US Navy EP-3E aircraft in the East China Sea to strengthen the capability of Japan-U.S. Alliance for effective deterrence and response.On March 28, RAAF KC-30A arrived at the Komaki Air Base. JASDF and RAAF conducted Air-to-Air Refueling Compatibility Test between JASDF F-2 and RAAF KC-30, and contributed to enhancing the interoperability.On March 28-30, JASDF RC-2 and Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) P-8A conducted flight training over the Pacific Ocean. P-8A visited Hyakuri Air Base for the first time and conducted Japan-Australia and Japan-U.S.-Australia unit-level exchanges. They improved interoperability, promoted mutual understanding and deepened air forces’ defense cooperation.
