4"OQ/NFrom January 10 to February 16, JGSDF conducted bilateral exercise with the U.S. Marine Corps "Iron Fist 2022." In this training, JGSDF developed bilateral amphibious operational capabilities to defend remote islands by conducting training such as landing training with JGSDF AAV and the U.S. Marine Corps ACV, ground combat including Military Operations on Urban Terrain after landing, and bilateral combat shooting training across the day and night.On January 25 and 26, JGSDF 1st Airborne Brigade conducted parachute drop training from the U.S. Air Force C-130 airplane in the East Fuji Maneuver Area.
